Prepare for an IEP meeting with AI
Generate an optional plain-language briefing on a student's goals before the meeting.
Datability can draft a short meeting-prep briefing from a student’s goals: what each goal works toward, how it’s measured, the target criteria and timeframe, and which target dates are close or past. It’s optional and runs only when you ask.
Generate a summary
- Open the student.
- Click Generate IEP Meeting Summary. It takes a few seconds.
- Read it, then Copy to Clipboard to paste into your notes, or Regenerate for a fresh draft.
What’s sent, and what isn’t
- Sent: the goal text only (area, goal, criteria, criteria period, schedule, and the target date if set).
- Not sent: scores, session data, notes or photos.
- Name scrubbed: the student’s name is removed on our server before the request, even if it was typed into a goal.
The summary describes the goals; it doesn’t invent progress data. Always read it before you use it. You’re the expert at the table.
